Our community editor, Will Dowd, began his journalism career at the Marblehead Reporter in 2012. Over the past decade, his full-time beats have included Salem, Marblehead, Swampscott and, most recently, Cambridge. A Salem resident, he is the devoted buddy to and dogfather of Clovis, a scrappy Yorkshire terrier and his ever-present shadow.

Joe McConnell is a 25-year award-winning veteran sports editor, who has covered the Marblehead sports community since 2008. Joe has reported on major sports events including the Little League World Series for the Boston Herald. His specialty is to feature the individual athlete beyond the box score, and what makes them who they are in games.
