Marblehead Senior Project showcase reveals talents, interests of Class of 2026

Marblehead High School seniors shared everything from dog-training techniques to motorcycle repair, kayak building and social media marketing during the school’s annual Senior Project Gallery Walk on Friday, May 29, where nearly 170 students presented months of independent work to parents, teachers, School Committee members and Superintendent John Robidoux. Festival of Arts week underway with old favorites, new offerings

Marblehead’s 59th Festival of Arts launched Sunday with the traditional Champagne Reception at Fort Sewall under soft blue skies. More than 400 people came out, many wearing festive, handmade hats. The event kicks off the Festival, which is underway this week. Karen Twomey, decked out in a flamboyant, floral chapeau with matching dress and shoes, won “Most Elegant” in the hat contest. Tailor Charles Katsoulakos is closing up shop after more than 55 years.
