The Marblehead High School field hockey team began a new season earlier this month with a moment etched in time. For the record, the Magicians took down Peabody, 2-0 on Sept. 6, and as a result history was made when coach Linda Rice Collins recorded her 300th career victory. MHS volleyball bests Peabody in straight sets

Marblehead High's girls volleyball came out strong over Peabody Sept. 13, winning in straight sets, 25-16, 25-20, 25-19. For Marblehead, this was a huge comeback win against the reigning Northeastern Conference champions, and also a dramatic improvement after last week's NEC loss to Beverly. Keira Sweetnam continued to dominate Marblehead's offense with 16 kills, three aces and eight digs. 100th anniversary Star World Championships to bring 85 teams from 13 countries to Marblehead
