MHS girls’ volleyball bests Bishop Fenwick in three sets

The Marblehead High School girls’ volleyball team evened its record at 1-1 on Sept. 8 by beating Bishop Fenwick in three sets, 25-9, 25-24, 25-13.

Senior outside hitter Keira Sweetnam led Marblehead’s offense with nine kills, and Madison Cole added in another four kills.

Isabel Wabno had eight digs.

Senior setters Julia Potvin and Tamya Johnson combined for 18 assists.

The team will be back in action in the Marblehead High School gym at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13.
