A lineup of world-class performers will be part of Me&Thee Music’s 57th season, which kicks off Sept. 18. Tickets for all five fall concerts are available now.
“We are expanding the types of new music we present this fall, from world-class a cappella and live over-dubbing to Americana-Rock-Roots to attract a wider audience,” said Me&Thee founder Anthony Silva.
Songwriter, singer and social activist Vienna Teng, who sold out her last show at Me&Thee in 2024, will lead things off Sept. 18. This will be Teng’s only Boston-area appearance on her New England tour. Later this fall, she will perform in Washington, D.C., and Berkeley, California.
Teng writes that she’d “like the experience of my music to be like a good dinner party, comfort food with a few experiments thrown in, where conversation stretches ’til 2 in the morning and books are pulled off the shelf to take home. Whatever gets you to that place, that’s what I’m going for.”
On Oct. 2, Ohio singer-songwriter Rj Cowdery will share her folk music, joined by Hope Dunbar and her blend of Americana and prairie-style country-folk.
On Oct. 16, fresh from performing at the 300th anniversary concert at London’s St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Windborne will bring its four-part harmony and a cappella music to Me&Thee. The group has developed a worldwide reputation as a leading innovator of new and historic choral music. Its viral videos have drawn millions of views from around the globe.
Rebecca Loebe of Austin, Texas, and Sarah Blacker of Salem, Massachusetts, come to Me&Thee on Nov. 6. Loebe has toured extensively across the U.S., Canada, Japan, Europe and the U.K. She became widely known after appearing on the first season of “The Voice.”
On Nov. 20, the fall season ends with The Whiskey Treaty Roadshow, which describes itself as “a collaborative band that brings together four Massachusetts-based singer-songwriters in the vein of americana, rock and roots-folk music.” The band is celebrating the release of its newest album, “Rising.” For more than a decade, the band has performed for regional and national audiences.
