Lace up for a cause: Rotary 5K returns Nov. 1

Ready, set, run for mental health! Marblehead Rotary’s annual 5K hits the streets Sunday, Nov. 1, at 11 a.m., starting and finishing at Crocker Park.

About 200 runners participated last year, raising $50,000 to support local mental health initiatives.

Proceeds help fund programs including a new mindfulness initiative at Brown and Glover elementary schools, designed to give young students tools to manage stress, practice kindness and build emotional resilience, Rotarian Nancy Gwin said.
