Sydney Ball (soccer, Temple University), Madison Bassett (cheerleading, College of Charleston), Breydan Callahan (football, John Hopkins University), Ilan Druker (soccer, Colby College), Finn Gallup (football, Salve Regina University), Declan Gibson (football, Wesleyan University) and Sadie Halpern (track, Colby College) are among 10 MHS seniors, who will go on to play sports in college next year, continuing the strong tradition of student-athletic success at MHS.

Altogether, MHS has sent 38 athletes to college over the past two years. Seven of this year’s 10 athletes attended the ceremony, where they were joined by family members, teammates and coaches to celebrate their milestone achievement.

Throughout their time at MHS, these seniors have represented the school quite well with their dedication, leadership and hard work, both on and off their respective playing surfaces. Their accomplishments reflect years of commitment to sports, while also balancing the demands of academics and school life.

This event gave the Marblehead community an opportunity to recognize the impact they have had on their respective programs, while also celebrating the next step in their athletic journeys. Coaches and supporters gathered on this day to congratulate them, before they get ready to compete for a roster spot on their respective college teams.
