Teen DIY: Tie-dye fun

Great Thinkers Garden Party

Don’t miss the opening reception for three, life-size bronze portrait busts — of Leonardo da Vinci, Confucius and Hypatia of Alexandria — now on view in the garden of the King Hooper Mansion, home to the Marblehead Arts Association. The series invites reflection on our ability to reason, imagine and shape the world — just as these great thinkers once did. Admission is free. The sculptures are available for viewing every day, sunrise to sunset, at 8 Hooper St.
‘Mystic Pizza’

Based on the beloved 1988 rom-com, “Mystic Pizza” is a new musical about three working-class girls who navigate the complexities of life, love and family in a small-town pizza joint. The score features megahits of the ’80s and ’90s, from “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” to “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.” Tickets are $23-$32 and available at mltlive.org.
