Marblehead’s traditional Horribles Parade will step off Sunday, July 9, after being postponed due to rainy weather on July 4.
The parade starts at National Grand Bank on Pleasant Street at 10 a.m. Registration is open 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. in the bank’s parking lot.

A few more details from the Gerry No. 5 V.F.A, which sponsors the parade:
Costume categories are current events, original and historical/patriotic. Children are encouraged to create costumes that embrace these themes. Each child in the parade will receive a bag of goodies. No motor vehicles or dogs are allowed in the parade. The route is the same as in past years, starting and ending at the parking lot at National Grand Bank.
