Marblehead is celebrating this Independence Day with model boats, art exhibits, live concerts and, of course, the traditional harbor illumination and fireworks display.
The soggy weather isn’t keeping families away from the Arts Festival, now in its fourth and final day. Here’s a quick look at what’s on tap for the Festival today:





Art Exhibits 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at six locations
Artisans Marketplace on the upper lawn at Abbot Hall 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Street Festival 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Bank Square on Washington Street
Literary Festival 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at the UU Church on Mugford Street
Model Boat Building at Lee Mansion 10 a.m.-1 p.m. At the Lee Mansion and garden
Redd’s Pond Regatta 3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m.
Concerts at Crocker: Noon-3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.-10:30 p.m.
The harbor illumination begins at 8:45 p.m. with the fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
