Gibbons, MD, Vincent Of Madison, Wisconsin, passed away on Sept. 29, after a long illness.
He leaves his wife of 30 years, Marcy; and 3 sons, Joshua, Liam and Gabriel, all of Wisconsin. He is predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth Ring Gibbons; and father Edward F. Gibbons. He is also remembered lovingly by his 4 siblings, Edward (Ted), John, Peter and Mary (Meg) Herbert.

Dr. Gibbons grew up in Marblehead, Massachusetts, and graduated from St. John’s Prep, Harvard University and Georgetown University, School of Medicine. After a fellowship at National Children’s Hospital, he taught and practiced pediatric neurology for many years in Boston, New York, San Francisco, St. Louis and Wisconsin, specializing in the treatment of seizures, with a passion for the care of children.
His family will remember him for his enthusiasm, fastidiousness, open curiosity, passion for life-long learning and woodworking skills. A Mass of Remembrance will be celebrated at 9 a.m, on Oct. 28, 2022, at Our Lady, Star of the Sea Church, in Marblehead, with burial at Waterside Cemetery.
