The legendary sailing vessel American Promise, made famous by Dodge Morgan’s record-setting solo circumnavigation of the globe, is returning to Marblehead for a 40th anniversary celebration. The event marks four decades since Morgan’s remarkable 150-day, non-stop voyage that captured the imagination of sailors and adventurers around the world. Manna Project launches new garden to feed local hungry families

On a recent sunny morning, about 20 preschoolers got their hands dirty — for a good cause.  The North Shore’s Manna Project, which supports people facing food insecurity, launched a new garden at Temple Sinai on Community Road to grow fruits and vegetables for the Marblehead Food Pantry.
