Bite marks found on a washed-up seal on Thursday have been identified as most likely from a great white shark. The seal washed up from Marblehead Harbor onto the beach at Cove Lane on Marblehead Neck on Thursday and was found by swimmers. New England Aquarium biologist John Chisolm identified the bite marks. As the summer draws to a close, the Lynch van/Otterloo YMCA hosted one last event before shutting the outdoor pool for the fall: the annual Doggy Dip. Whether selling flowers, scooping ice cream, teaching theater or refueling boats on the harbor, many Marblehead teens have been busy fattening their wallets.
