Advertise in the Current

The Marblehead Current is a nonprofit newspaper. Our mission is to provide Marblehead with objective, fair and free local news, online and in print, through a sustainable, locally controlled nonprofit that values public service over profit.

What that means for you – the advertiser – is that our rates are extremely competitive. We do not answer to a parent company or shareholders, and we don’t have overhead to worry about. Every dollar we raise through advertising goes directly toward helping our newsroom and volunteer team produce the paper.

Since we launched the print edition on Nov. 23, 2022, over 50 Marblehead businesses have chosen to invest their advertising dollars with the Current. We hope you’ll join in.

Be sure to let us know if you’re a member of the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce. If not, it’s easy to become one here.
