Instead of pulling straight out, the other vehicle backed up, crossing over multiple empty parking spaces. The man explained he stopped his vehicle as he was pulling in because he could not tell what this other vehicle was doing. As the other vehicle backed towards the man’s vehicle, he honked at it to get the driver’s attention. But this did not work, and the other vehicle backed into the man’s vehicle, causing some damage to the front driver’s side bumper. The other vehicle left the area as the man was assessing the damage to his vehicle, and he was unable to get a registration or model of the striking car. He could only say that it was black and was being driven by an elderly woman.
