The polls open at 7 a.m. for today’s state primary election, when voters will decide two key races: Seth Moulton vs. Ed Markey for U.S. Senate and the five-way contest for the 6th Congressional District seat.
Marblehead voters in precincts 1 and 2 vote at Abbot Hall, 188 Washington St., while voters in precincts 3-6 vote at the Marblehead High School field house, 2 Humphrey St. To find out which precinct you live in, visit the Massachusetts Secretary of State’s “Where Do I Vote?” website.
Here are the Democratic and Republican primary ballots voters will see today.
One of the most closely watched races features five Democrats competing for their party’s nomination in the 6th Congressional District. They are Bethany Andres-Beck, John Beccia, Jamie Belsito, Dan Koh and Tram Nguyen. Dr. Mariah Lancaster dropped out of the race last weekend.

Also on the ballot, Marblehead native and U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton is hoping to unseat U.S. Sen. Ed Markey.
The two Democrats share similar positions on many issues, including abolishing ICE, ending the war with Iran and opposing President Donald Trump.
Markey, 80, who has served in Congress for 50 years, says he has the experience needed and calls himself the only progressive in the race. Moulton, 47, has served 12 years in Congress and says it is time for a new generation of leadership in the Senate.
