Marblehead Public Schools will decide in the next few hours whether to cancel school on Tuesday, Superintendent John Robidoux just told the Current.
“I’m corresponding/collaborating with town officials, DPW, our facilities folks and other supers to ascertain the best information by which to make a decision,” Robidoux wrote in a text. “I will hope to have a better idea where things stand with clean-up in the next couple of hours. Safety is always a priority.”
About an hour earlier, DPW Supervisor Amy Hugh requested Select Board permission to begin dumping snow in the harbor Tuesday at midnight. She said her crews are running out of places to put cleared snow … and snowbanks are getting dangerously high. The Select Board approved that request.
Stay with the Current.
