OBITUARY: Joseph Carpineto, 55

Joseph Carpineto, age 55, of Marblehead, passed away unexpectedly on Monday Dec. 22.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of 22 years, Sherri (Levy) Carpineto, his most adored and cherished sons Harrison and Will Carpineto and his mom Joann Carpineto.

He also leaves behind an abundance of loved family and friends he’s had since elementary school including his best friend who was like a brother, Richard Guarino.

Joe was a project manager for the state of Massachusetts. Previously he owned J&S Brandi’s in Marblehead and other catering businesses showcasing his exceptional cooking talents.

He graduated from Revere High School and Massachusetts College of Art.

Joe had many talents that he has passed on to his children including his cooking skills, his extraordinary illustration skills and his love for movies and music.

There was no one more knowledgeable or passionate about movies, music and culture. He knew something about everything and was the go-to for facts.

Joe loved hosting parties, including enormous Halloween and birthday bashes for his kids that will be remembered forever, and end-of-season football parties for their youth teams.

He showed up to every game, cheered on at every sport and encouraged his boys endlessly.

His biggest passion was his family. He often said all he needed was his family happy and a life with his wife and kids.

The loss is profound but we will carry on his legacy of kindness with us.

Funeral services and burial will be private but there will be a celebration of life early in the new year. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at eustisandcornellfuneralhome.com for Joe’s family.

In lieu of flowers please consider contributing to the GoFundMe to support Joe’s amazing boys so they can stay happy and healthy living in their childhood home of so many happy memories gofundme.com/f/support-for-the-carpineto-family/cl/o?lang=en_US.
