Guy Ford Band for DAV

Come rock out to the Guy Ford Band in The Bunker at the VFW, 321 West Shore Drive. The show benefits the Disabled American Veterans of Massachusetts. Open to all.

New Year’s Day Resolution Bracelet Workshop
Thursday, Jan. 1, sessions run 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Kick off New Year’s Day with creativity and purpose at a Resolution Bracelet Workshop at EOS Design. Start 2026 by choosing gemstones and symbolic charms that represent your goals — whether you’re aiming for healthier habits, better balance, new adventures, financial growth or a renewed creative spirit. Mystery Book Club

Abbot Library’s Mystery Book Club will discuss “Long Bright River” by Liz Moore. Copies are available to check out at the library’s main desk. Registration is required at abbotlibrary.org/events.

Movies and Musings
Monday, Jan. 5, 6-8:30 p.m.

Also at Abbot Library, this month’s Movies and Musings film is “The Wizard of Oz.” Come watch this classic with Marblehead’s resident film critic Marc Wortman. Wortman is a graduate of Northwestern University Film School, a documentary filmmaker and a New England newspaper film critic.
