In the ensuing text, Miller commented on her and the rest of the Marblehead all-stars, and what they meant to the team throughout this championship season.

Greta Sachs – Division 2 All-State team, NEC MVP
“This year, Greta had the highest hitting percentage in the state, ending her senior season at .412. She also had 191 kills and 84 blocks, which was the fifth highest total in the state, and first in Division 2.
“Greta (made few errors) this fall, and her ability to see the court was so amazing. She was the NEC (Player of the Year) and was so well deserving of this honor.”

Lila Moniz – NEC All-Conference
“Lila’s strength lies in both the front and back row, where she had 246 kills this season and a .229 hitting percentage. Defensively, she passed 2.1 in serves received on the season to go along with 226 digs, while anchoring our first contact game. She also had nine double doubles on the season, which means double digits in two statistical points in a given match.”

Sydney Faris — NEC All-Conference
“Sydney anchored Marblehead’s serves received and defense in every play this fall. She dictated where our serve receivers lined up, while taking all the angles, not just what was hers, and as a result was all over the court on defense. She had 284 digs and 60 aces this season.”

Eva Burke – NEC All-Star

“Eva was the heart of our offense. This season, she reached a major milestone with her 1,000th career assist, and this year alone she had 465 assists. Eva also contributed defensively with 74 digs.”

Mari Modryznska – NEC All-Star

“Mari did an incredible job this past season by always finding the (offensive side of the court) with her ability to read defenses. She ended the season with 138 kills and 177 digs with a hitting percentage of .202.”

Samantha Walker – NEC All-Star
“Sammy had a great year, as she brought so much power to the middle position on the team, ending up with 88 kills and 23 blocks.”
