Marblehead set to observe Veterans Day

There are several events planned in Marblehead to mark Veterans Day.

First, the Council on Aging will host its annual Veterans Day breakfast on Friday, Nov. 7, at 9 a.m. The COA is located at 10 Humphrey St.

The VFW, 321 West Shore Drive, holds a clothing drive for homeless vets on Saturday, Nov. 8, with doors opening at 7 p.m. There will be live music.

Congressman Seth Moulton will host his 11th annual Veterans Town Hall Monday, Nov. 10, at 6:30 p.m., at Abbot Hall, 188 Washington St. The event is an opportunity for veterans to share personal stories of service. It is open to the public.

Then, on Nov. 11, 10 a.m., Marblehead Veterans Services Officer Roseann Trionfi-Mazzuchelli will lead a Veterans Day program, also at Abbot Hall. The Marblehead High School chorus will perform, and Army veteran Tom Mathers will be a featured speaker.
