LETTER: What happens next after rejecting 3A plan

To the editor:

Could someone who voted no for our 3A plan now please tell us how you think this is all going to end? Do you think that the state is going to say, OK Marblehead, you no longer need to comply with the 3A law now that you have voted to violate it.

Since we have now given up our right to create our own 3A zoning plan with this no vote, we can only hope that when a special master is assigned to develop our plan for us, that the plan will essentially be the same thoughtful and comprehensive plan as the one we created and not a plan consisting of one district with 890 units.
