With 6.9 seconds left, Marblehead senior captain Crew Monaco scored the game-winning goal on an assist from fellow senior captain Kyle Hart as the Headers beat Blackstone Valley, 3-2, at Salem State Wednesday, Feb. 26 to move on to the Round of 16 in the Division 3 playoffs.
The top line of Monaco, Hart and Hayden Gallo accounted for all of Marblehead’s scoring on the night, with Gallo netting his goal in the first period, followed by Hart in the second period.
