Piia Alexandra Scioletti passed away in her sleep at her home in Wellington, Florida on Sept. 7.
She was born on Aug. 29, 1986 and grew up in Marblehead. She graduated from the Marblehead High School class of 2004.
Piia furthered her education at the University of Massachusetts and the University of Vermont earning a bachelor’s degree in biology. More recently she was enrolled in a graduate program at Florida Atlantic University studying microbiology and infectious diseases.
She worked at Praesum Healthcare, which owns and operates 12 rehabilitation facilities along the east coast. She was a purchasing agent for all locations. During the pandemic, she and her colleagues kept facilities stocked with CDC-approved products and equipment enabling safe care for patients.
She was also a partner at AGH Holdings.
Piia is survived by family members including her parents, Tom and Raila Lehtonen Scioletti of Swampscott, brothers Christian of Swampscott and Dylan and his fiance, Brittney Costello of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, loving aunt and uncle Jody and Kevin Palmerino of Lynn, uncle Ralph Cammett of Marblehead, aunt and uncle Merja and Iannis Markarkis of Finland and aunt and soulmate Debbie Keiling Scioletti of Raleigh, N.C.
Cousins include Helena Markarkis of Finland, Ian Cammett of Marblehead, and Cameron and Devin Scioletti of Raleigh, N.C. She was predeceased by her aunt Nancy Scioletti Cammett and uncle Daniel Scioletti.
We will forever miss our adventurous, enterprising daughter.
We have no words to describe how we feel now, tomorrow and the rest of our lives. Piia, we want to hear your voice, join your laughter and share your quirky sense of wit…You gave us the sweetest, funniest happy memories. Thank you for giving us the gift of your love.
Service Information: Interment will be private but a Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
