On Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 6:00 p.m., the Current will host a private showing of the Academy Award-winning film “Spotlight” and a conversation with investigative reporter/editor Walter Robinson of the Boston Globe (played by Michael Keaton in the movie) who led the Globe’s Spotlight team to earn a Pulitzer Prize.
The event is now sold out! Ticket holders will enjoy a champagne reception, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, and an intimate pre-show Q&A with this legendary journalist.
Ticket holders have pledged a monthly $25 gift to the Current OR made a one-time donation of $100. If you’re attending, your donation receipt is your ticket and your name will be on a list at the door.
