Classical pianist Daniel Adam Maltz returns to the Lee Mansion, to play the music of Mozart and Haydn on a copy of a 1784 Stein fortepiano.
Maltz is a fortepianist based in Vienna, Austria. He specializes in the First Viennese School — Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert. Maltz studied historical performance at the Royal Academy of Music in London and at Vienna’s University for Music and Performing Arts.
He has appeared in concert throughout North America, Europe and Australia. He made his Carnegie Hall debut at age 22. Daniel also hosts “Classical Cake,” a podcast about Vienna’s music and culture.
