Dan Koh, who just won the Democratic primary for the 6th Congressional District, will be the special guest at the Marblehead Democratic Town Committee picnic Monday, Sept. 14, from 5-8 p.m. at Gerry 5 VFA, 210 Beacon St.
Koh will greet attendees and speak to the crowd. He recently won the Democratic nomination to replace U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton and will face Republican Micah Q. Jones in the November general election.

A buffet Italian dinner will be served at the picnic beginning at 6 p.m.
The annual event is the Marblehead Democrats’ only fundraiser, with proceeds supporting the MDTC Edwin L. Goldberg and Selma L. Goldberg scholarships for Marblehead students, as well as the committee’s campaign activities and candidates.
The Marblehead High School chorus will perform. State and local officials, including Rep. Jenny Armini and Sen. Brendan Crighton, as well as 2026 candidates, will be on hand to meet attendees, answer questions and rally Democrats ahead of the midterm elections.
Tickets are $35, or $20 for students. Visit marbleheaddems.org to purchase tickets and sponsorships online. Tickets may also be purchased by check payable to MDTC and mailed to P.O. Box 232, Marblehead, MA 01945.
