Marblehead High School student actor Ronan McKiernan will take the stage this month with the Greater Boston Stage Company, appearing as Wes Warnicker in “Footloose: The Musical.”
The production is part of Greater Boston Stage Company’s Summer Festival 2026, which features five fully staged musicals performed by students in grades four through 12.
Running Aug. 6-16, the festival brings together nearly 100 young performers from 22 Greater Boston communities. The students work with professional directors, choreographers, music directors, designers and theater artists to create full-scale productions.
“Footloose” will be performed Friday, Aug. 7, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 8, at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Aug. 9, at 5 p.m.
