To the editor:
We have an opportunity to bring two new Select Board members to the board this year. Let’s make one of them Jenn Schaeffner.
Having served on the School Committee for several years, she has proven herself unafraid to make hard decisions, keeping expenses in check while putting students’ education first, basing her actions on common sense rather than buzzwords and jargon.
While serving with her on the Marblehead Housing Authority I have come to find her financial acumen both deep and wide and her ability to get to the core of the problem without equal. While decisive, she is open to other ideas and is a true team player. Jenn Schaeffner is the change we need to make to the Select board to better serve the people of our town. Let’s not let this opportunity slip away.
