BREAKING NEWS: Town declares three-night parking ban starting Wednesday at 11 p.m.

Due to all the snow and ice in Marblehead from recent storms, the town has declared a three-night parking ban, starting Wednesday at 11 p.m. Here is the schedule for the ban:

  • Wednesday, Feb.11, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning
  • Thursday, Feb. 12, starting at 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Friday, Feb. 13, starting at 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

The parking ban is expected to be lifted by 7 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14. During emergency parking bans, parking is restricted on public roadways. Vehicles found in violation of the parking ban may be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense to ensure that roads remain clear for emergency vehicles and snow removal operations.
