Rosalyn Weinstein of Marblehead entered into rest on Dec. 30, 2025, at the age of 91.
She was the beloved wife of Saul Weinstein (deceased) and a devoted mother to Steven (Linda) Weinstein and Susan Bean (Thomas Sheehey).
Rosalyn was a loving grandmother to Katie (Mark) O’Shea, Timothy Weinstein, Samantha (Zachary) Weiss, Mik Bean and Bekka Bean, and a cherished great-grandmother to Will, Scotty and Emmie O’Shea, as well as J.J., Lukey and Ellie Weiss.
Roz grew up in Malden and later moved to Marblehead, where she and Saul raised their family. She loved to read and enjoyed playing canasta and mah-jongg.
Funeral services will be held at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., Salem, on Sun. at 10 a.m., Jan. 4.
Following the service, interment will take place at Temple Sinai Cemetery, 51 Buxton Road, Peabody. A gathering for friends and family will be held following the interment at The Clubhouse at the Village at Vinnin, 200 Loring Ave.,Salem, until 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Roz Weinstein to support the Cure AT/RT Now Fund for pediatric medulloblastoma research.
