Weather permitting, D & R Paving will begin milling (grinding) sections of Humphrey and Tedesco streets beginning Monday, Oct. 27, at 7 a.m. The milling will happen on Tedesco Street from the Salem Line to Brookhouse Drive; and on Humphrey Street from the Swampscott line to Glendale Road.
Details from the town:
- No parking on road during work hours, 7 a.m.- 5p.m.
- Temporary lane narrowing and traffic delays expected.
- Travel at your own risk for the duration of the project.
- Avoid raised structures when traveling, especially in lower clearance vehicles.
- It is recommended to plan accordingly and find legal parking elsewhere to facilitate construction.
- Exercise caution when workers are present and follow direction of police details.
Following milling, crews will begin raising manholes and utility structures to meet new road elevations. Stay tuned for more construction updates including final roadway paving.
