DESCRIPTION:The annual Marblehead Garden Club Plant Sale\, the town’s oldest continuously running plant sale is back for its 92nd year! In the event of rain\, the sale will take place on Sunday\, May 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Admission to the event is free. \nThe proceeds from the plant sale will be used to support the maintenance of the organic gardens at the historic Jeremiah Lee Mansion\, which is operated by the Marblehead Museum and Historical Society. The Marblehead Garden Club and the Marblehead Museum have been working together since 1936 to preserve and enhance the mansion’s gardens.

Knowledgeable members will be available to answer any questions you have. \nProceeds from the sale will support various projects such as the maintenance of the King Hooper Gardens\, Devereux Beach gardens\, a scholarship to a deserving high school graduate and proposed cleanup of the Okos’ VFA property on Washington Street. \nThe Cottage Gardeners of Marblehead and Swampscott are proud members of the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts and the National Council of State Garden Clubs (Northeastern District). \n
