The Oshima Brothers presented the last concert at the Me&Thee in the spring of 2020 before its forced two-year Covid pause. It’s taken a herculean effort to recover, recoup and return. Organizers wanted them back to complete that circle and to help them usher in the rebirth of Me&Thee Music. The brothers’ magnetic sibling sound and contagious joy are the result of a lifetime of making music together.
Raised in a musical family in rural Maine, Sean and Jamie have refined a harmony-rich blend of contemporary folk and acoustic pop to create an effectively full sound with dynamic vocals, electric and acoustic guitars, octave bass, live looping and foot percussion.
This indie duo says they want every show to feel like a deep breath, a sonic embrace and a dance party. The Oshima Brothers have been eager to play for live audiences again and to share their new album, “Dark Nights Golden Days.”
