Anthony Sammarco will reveal the dramatic story of the Great Boston Fire of 1872, the biggest fire in New England history.
In fifteen short hours, 776 buildings died in flame, while some of Boston’s most cherished landmarks were saved by a combination of courage, ingenuity and incredible luck.
This lecture is based on Anthony’s new book, “Inferno.”
This lecture can be viewed in-person in the J.O.J. Frost Gallery & Carolyn Lynch Education Center at the Marblehead Museum or via Zoom.
