To celebrate National Poetry Nonth, the Marblehead Racial Justice Team has a special session planned for its next in a series of “Conversations on Race,” which will feature local students who will share their love of poetry.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from young people who will read their favorite poems and discuss why poetry matters, especially to those who have often been unheard.
Attendees will also learn how poetry helps us to better express ourselves, make sense of the world and our place in it.
MRJT Conversations on Race welcomes diverse opinions expressed respectfully.
Those who cannot attend in person can access the event on Zoom. For more information, email infoMRJTeam@gmail.com.
