The Marblehead Pride Committee brought a little more color to the Old & Historic District Saturday, painting a rainbow bench at the corner of Washington and Pleasant streets.
“We wanted to honor LGBTQ residents — past, present and future,” said Nick Esposito of the committee.
Marblehead’s pride flag rising is June 14, 11 a.m., at Abbot Hall. It will be followed by a family-friendly pride party at Shubie’s 12-3 p.m.
