PAWS & CLAWS: Quintin hopes to leave trailer park days behind

Quintin was left behind in a trailer park after it was closed down. Volunteers at the Marblehead Animal Shelter surmise he must have had a hard life, as the park had been closed for weeks before he was rescued.

Quintin was left behind in a trailer park for weeks after it closed.

Quintin has the most beautiful blue eyes to go along with his peachy buff coloring, according to shelter volunteers. He is a “love” and cannot get over how friendly everyone is at the shelter, they added.

Quintin is FIV-positive but can live a very normal healthy life and can even live in the same home with cats that are not positive for FIV. He is looking for a soft, warm bed on which to sleep in these upcoming cold months, volunteers said.

Quintin is up to date with routine shots, house trained and neutered.

Quintin and the other cats up for adoption at the Marblehead Animal Shelter, 44 Village St., can also be visited Sunday, noon-4 p.m. (adoptions), Tuesday, 6-8 p.m.; Friday, 5-7 p.m. (viewing only) and Saturday, noon-5 p.m.
