Marblehead Museum to host ‘Where the Bodies Are Buried’ lecture

On Thursday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m., Pam Peterson will discuss the rich history of Marblehead’s local cemeteries, from the colonial gravestones at Old Burial Hill to the Victorian vaults at Waterside Cemetery, in a presentation at the Marblehead Museum.

Attendees will learn about the vibrant tales of Marblehead fishermen, merchants and heroes interred within, along with a ghost story or two.

Pam Peterson serves as a Marblehead Cemetery Commissioner and is the director of the Marblehead Historical Commission. The lecture can be attended in person or viewed via Zoom. For more information and ticketing, visit marbleheadmuseum.org.
