9:30 p.m. – Officer Douglas Mills responded to a call concerning an alleged hit-and-run incident on Glendale Road.Upon arrival, he engaged with the reporting party who described that her vehicle was damaged by a gray Chevy SUV. Mills investigated potential security footage and identified a doorbell camera that may have captured footage of the incident.
2:11 p.m. – Officer Luke Peters was approached at the police station by an individual who reported a trespassing incident at her property located on Summer Street. The complainant returned home and discovered a note placed on her vehicle about an incident in the community. Peters provided guidance on procuring a no-trespass order.
3:20 p.m. – Officer Luke Peters was contacted by the owner of Seaside Allure about an ongoing harassment issue. Peters provided guidance on procuring a no-trespass order and a harassment prevention order.
4:16 p.m. – Officer Michael Farewell was assigned to monitor an intersection of Elm and Green Streets. Between approximately 4:16 p.m. and 5 p.m, Farewell observed and stopped four motor vehicles that allegedly failed to comply with the stop sign. One driver received a citation and three received warnings.
8:45 p.m. – Officer Jason McDonald reported monitoring traffic at the intersections of Pond, Green and Elm Streets. He conducted one traffic stop for alleged violations. The remainder of traffic adhered to laws.
Aug. 2
10:38 a.m. – Officer Timothy Morley responded to speak with a person regarding a potential fraudulent unemployment claim. The individual’s personal information was allegedly used to file a claim they did not submit. Morley was provided information about the fraudulent claim for further investigation.
1:45 p.m. – Officer Douglas Mills was dispatched to the police station regarding reported identity fraud. The reporting individual’s personal information had allegedly been compromised and used to apply for credit cards without authorization. Mills advised them to freeze their credit and report the fraud.
Aug. 3
10:45 a.m. – Police Lt. Jonathan Lunt observed a vehicle allegedly run a Pleasant Street red light. He initiated a traffic stop and identified the driver.
11:08 a.m. – Officer Luke Peters was approached by a woman seeking advice about her brother allegedly refusing to vacate a Darling Street apartment after the lease was terminated. Peters clarified it was a civil matter and explained the eviction process.
1:12 p.m. – Officer Luke Peters met an individual who reported an alleged hacking incident involving her Facebook account and an email threatening to release compromising videos unless payment was received. Peters provided advice on securing her accounts and devices.
4:37 p.m. – Officer Farewell responded to an Elm Street residence. A female resident expressed concern about a male resident providing personal information to an unknown contractor. Farewell advised them on how to handle the situation.
10:01 p.m. – At the police station, Officer Andrew DiMare attended to a contractor who had allegedly not been paid for work completed. The matter was civil but the contractor had concerns.

2:38 p.m. – At the police station, Officer Nicholas Michaud responded to a report about an alleged hit-and-run incident involving a child on a bicycle damaging a vehicle, based on Ring camera footage.
Aug. 5
11:32 a.m. – Officer Samuel Rizos and Officer Nicholas Michaud responded to a dispute between three individuals on Chestnut Street. After investigating, they determined it was a civil matter and provided advice.
4:59 p.m. – Officer Andrew DiMare observed a motorcyclist allegedly perform a wheelie on Pleasant Street. The individual was allegedly operating an unregistered motorcycle without a valid license. The motorcycle was towed.
8:44 p.m. – At the police station, Officer Robert Picariello addressed concerns from parents whose son was allegedly assaulted at a restaurant. Picariello provided advice and urged contacting police if threats continued.
9:13 p.m. – Officer Andrew DiMare pursued a speeding vehicle along the Veterans Memorial Causeway that initially evaded a stop. The driver was located and stopped.
Aug. 6
11:07 a.m. – At the police station, Officer Samuel Rizos met a woman concerned that a former housemate still allegedly uses her address. Rizos provided a report to demonstrate the man no longer lives there.
3 p.m. – Officer Andrew DiMare and Officer Nicholas Michaud responded to a three-car accident at an interaction between Tedesco and Canterbury Streets. There were no injuries, but a license issue was found for one driver.
10:23 – Officer Robert Picariello addressed a scam attempt through social media allegedly threatening to release compromising images unless payment was received. Picariello counseled the resident and reassured threats often don’t materialize.
