At the induction ceremony, NHS President Yasen Colin gave a welcome address, and MHS Principal Dan Bauer offered his congratulations. Faculty leaders present were Catherine Silva and Anthony Costello.
Senior members of NHS received cords to wear at graduation, and new inductees signed a special book of NHS members and received a certificate of membership at the candlelight ceremony.
Acceptance to the NHS is based on the highest standards in scholarship, service, leadership and character. It is one of the highest accomplishments that can be awarded to a high school student. Members are required to maintain a GPA of 3.85 and complete 30 hours of service.
