Air quality advisory issued for North Shore

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection has issued an air quality advisory for Essex and Suffolk Counties, due to elevated ozone levels. “Air is forecast to be unhealthy for sensitive groups, including those with lung or heart disease, older adults and children,” according to the advisory.

The forecast for today is mostly sunny skies and very warm conditions. Winds will generally be light and variable early, becoming light south to southeast during the afternoon.
