I came across an adult great-horned owl sitting on a nest with two young owlets. There was another adult on a nearby branch. This photo was taken from a great distance, as the nest is extremely well-hidden and very high in a pine tree. It won’t be long now before the young owlets start to explore the branches around the nest.
