Mary E. (Tully) Rice of Melrose, Marblehead and Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, died Sept. 9, 2022. She was 97.
Rice was the beloved wife of the late John C. Rice Jr., with whom she shared 64 years of marriage.
She was the devoted mother of Deborah Rice Noble and her husband, Christopher, of Marblehead; Shane C. Rice of Melrose; and Brian K. Rice and his wife, Valeria, of Marblehead.
Mary was the loving sister of the late John, Francis, and Gerard Tully, and the cherished grandmother of Ashley, Harrison and Charlie.
She is lso survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Relatives and friends will gather in honor of Mary’s life during visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Wednesday, Sept. 14 from 4-7 p.m., and again on Thursday at 9 a.m. before leaving in procession to the Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St., Melrose, for her Funeral Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
